The Sacrament of Baptism is the means by which persons of any age are initiated into the Christian faith. Persons are baptized only once in their lives. Adults who have not been baptized as children, but wish to be baptized are welcomed. The Sacrament is conferred in the presence of the congregation, which takes responsibility for supporting the parents in raising their children in the faith. Baptism does not require membership in this church. The date of Baptism should be arranged with the minister. A private Baptism may be arranged upon request.
