Thanks to our amazing and generous congregation, Mission Outreach had a very successful 2023, helping our neighbors both far and wide.
The outpouring of love continued this year as we, once again, collected donations for Laura’s Home in honor of Mother’s Day. We were able to take a packed trunk-load of useful items to the women who are sheltering at Laura’s Home.

In addition to our “regular” and “open-ended” collection for the Strongsville Food Bank, we had an “Oodles of Noodles” drive in October, and our church community did not disappoint! We collected all different kinds of pasta and marinara sauce that filled an entire trunk and backseat of an SUV. In 2023, we started our “Souper Bowl” soup drive and currently, we are collecting canned soup for the Food Bank and will celebrate our efforts with our own “Souper Bowl” that Mission Outreach will host in February in Pilgrim Hall.

There was another successful mitten tree collection. Our small-but-mighty congregation is helping keep many people warm in the Cleveland area during the winter months.
For Christmas, we tried out a new outreach program which benefited the Strongsville Community Food Bank Sharing Tree Program. We were able to collect twenty $25 gift cards to Wal-Mart, Target and Kohl’s. These gift cards went to children who were registered with the food bank.
